Which are the best SMOK vape kits?
Established in 2010, SMOK has ensured its place in the market as one of the top vape manufacturers. In the 10 years since its inception, the company has released a variety of vape kits.
We’re not talking about a one-hit-wonder type of a company – the variety of quality SMOK vape kits is expansive, to say the least.
With this in mind, we’ve compiled a list of 12 best vape kits from SMOK. It’s bound to contain the perfect match for your vape needs.
The 12 Best SMOK Vape Kits (Reviewed)
12. SMOK X-Priv Baby Kit
The X-Priv Baby kit is, as you may have figured out, the smaller version of SMOK’s standard X-Priv kit.
But let’s look at this vape kit in its own right. After all, it does remain one of the more popular SMOK vape kits.
The internal battery on this vape is 2300 mAh and outputs 80W. This doesn’t seem like much, but for a vape this size, it’s more than admirable.
There’s a 2” color screen that displays all the information needed. There are seven colors to choose from, ranging from matte black to prism rainbow.
Inside the box, users will find the X-Priv Baby mod, two V8 Baby-Q2 coils, a TFV12 Big Baby Prince tank, a bubble glass, a USB cable, some spare parts, and the owner’s manual.
11. SMOK Priv N19
Priv N19 is a small mod. The size may come as a surprise even if you are prepared for getting a small mod. For reference, it’s only a bit taller than the tank that’s on it.
The battery is 1200 mAh. This may seem abysmal, but when compared to the N19’s size, it becomes reasonable, maybe even great.
SMOK Priv N19 is straightforward to use, looks great, doesn’t take up too much space, and has decent specs for a mod its size.
Although the battery capacity is relatively low, it can last almost an entire day on the soft setting.
This may require some adjustments to the settings, but having a mod that’s so tiny, yet so effective is a true wonder.
10. SMOK Stick 80W
“Heavy” doesn’t necessarily mean “good.” SMOK Stick 80W is heavy, despite its small size. But this is also a good thing since it’s built out of steel. This makes it exceptionally resilient.
Also, SMOK Stick 80W is fairly small, so that bit of extra weight goes by unnoticed.
There are six color options to choose from, ranging from black to a 7-color mix variant.
Despite its small size, the Stick 80W features a 2800 mAh battery capacity, more than adequate considering the size. The tank is tiny, though, with a 2ml capacity.
The possibly annoying thing about using this mod is the need to press the fire button five times to turn it on or off.
9. SMOK Vape Pen 22 Light Edition
This is an advanced version of the popular SMOK Vape Pen 22. It features LED indicator lights the original version doesn’t offer, as well as some other upgrades.
Still, SMOK Vape Pen 22 Light Edition remains a mod that’s aimed at beginner vapers and non-hardcore vaping enthusiasts.
The pen is discreet and compact, always a nice thing to see, especially if you are a beginner vaper.
The device is so neat and compact, it may appear like a tube mod. Upon closer inspection, though, you’ll realize that the tank is a part of the mod, as well.
Although many beginners sporting this vape pen, its build is solid enough for veterans. SMOK Vape Pen 22 Light Edition is made out of stainless steel.
The battery is 1650mAh, which is not that impressive, but on this mod, one charge can last an entire day. The compact battery’s size is also crucial here, aiding in portability.
8. SMOK I-Priv
Do you know Iron Man? Well, Tony Stark (the man behind the superhero) is all about advanced technology, and so is this Iron Man-inspired vape.
For starters, you get voice commands with this vape. Yes, you read that correctly, SMOK I-Priv supports voice commands.
While it’s not the only mod on the market to support voice commands, these are the next level. And no, the voice commands aren’t there just for show; they govern the full array of operations for the device.
But even if you don’t care about voice commands or prefer not to use them, this mod is still pretty fantastic.
SMOK I-Priv stores dual 21700 batteries, which gives it a huge capacity. The power range goes up to 230W.
SMOK I-Priv is rich in other features as well, and most of them are top-of-the-line for the most part.
The downside? Well, it’s not discreet and portable. It gets dirty quickly, and the detailed nooks and crannies can become home to dust and various other particles.
7. SMOK Vape Pen Nord 19 and 22
You get two vape pens inside this package, and they differ not only in size but weight.
Nord Pen 19 is lighter, features a battery capacity of 1300 mAh, a shorter power range, and a smaller capacity.
Nord Pen 19’s battery capacity is overcome by Nord Pen 22’s 2000 mAh. Where the power range of the 19 is 15-25W, the 22 boasts 6-30W. Finally, the juice capacity of the 19 is 2ml, while the 22 boasts 3.6ml.
These aren’t the only differences between the two models, but they are the main ones. No worries, though, because inside this package are two vape pens that allow you to switch between them as you please.
This package is excellent for beginners.
6. SMOK Stick Prince Baby and TFV12
The first thing that needs mentioning here is that the SMOK Stick Prince Baby comes with the TFV12 Baby Prince tank, which is one of the best tanks in the SMOK family.
Still, aside from the famed tank, SMOK Stick Prince Baby is pretty barebones.
So, don’t expect any of the fancy features like temperature control, variable wattage, pre-heating, adjustable TCR, etc. You get what you see.
This isn’t necessarily a downside. The lack of extra features makes SMOK Stick Prince Baby very easy to use. It’s a no-nonsense device for the vapers who are all about the vaping experience, not about the tech behind it.
5. SMOK Resa Stick and Resa Baby
You could get the Resa Stick alone, but the starter kit version also gives you the excellent Resa Baby tank.
One of the best things about the Resa series is its size – it’s barely over 25mm in diameter. The device is also very durable, yet lightweight.
Despite its size, SMOK Resa Stick features a 2000 mAh internal battery that would be considered fairly solid even for much larger vaping devices.
Flavor is something at which the Resa Stick truly excels, thanks to its innovative coil design.
4. SMOK Species 230W and TFV8 Baby V2
This starter kit adds the TFV8 Baby V2 tank. When it comes to styling, SMOK Species 230W is sleek, yet aggressive. It comes in eight colors, from the standard black to red to the rainbow finish.
The included OLED color display is 1.45” big and allows you to easily navigate the user-friendly UI.
The included dual 18650 batteries don’t boast the largest capacity on the market, but do a pretty decent job.
The TFV8 Baby V2 tank that comes with the starter kit is brilliant, and so are the newly introduced coils. Unfortunately, there is no backward compatibility with this tank.
All in all, this vape is solidly built, resilient, durable, and easy to use.
3. SMOK RPM 2 Pod Mod Kit
The highlight of this vaping kit is its RPM 2 coils, which do a brilliant job of bringing amazing flavor and producing thick clouds.
Another cool thing is with this model, SMOK has finally adopted the USB-C quick charging, which could cause many users to exclaim, “About time!”
Compared to previous RPM iterations, the RPM 2 is considerably larger, mostly because it now boasts a much-needed 2000mAh battery.
Other than that, there’s a 1.14” OLED display, which is crystal-clear and capable of showing you the entirety of the necessary information.
2. SMOK RPM 160 Pod Mod Kit
This mod is powered by two external 18650 batteries, bringing 3.7V and between 1800 and 3500 mAh, which is a fantastic capacity.
SMOK RPM 160 is not a small vape kit. Its pod can hold up to 7.5ml of e-liquid, which is also impressive.
Still, the mod is not overly large, even though it features two 18650 batteries. It’s not too heavy either, which is surprising.
Nonetheless, it has some awkward angles which may take getting used to when holding the unit.
1. SMOK Alike Pod Mod Kit
SMOK Alike Pod Mod is the best choice on this list for several reasons. First of all, it is affordable.
Second, it can fire from 1W up to 40W.
Third, its 1600 mAh battery may not seem like much, but it’s ideal for all-day vaping.
The pods can hold up to 5.5ml of liquid, which isn’t the largest capacity. However, considering the portability of this starter kit, it’s more than enough.
Finally, due to its tactical build, it’s one of the most resilient mods on the list. But this resilience doesn’t come at the expense of portability and compactness.
On top of all that, SMOK Alike Pod Mod is among the easiest kits to use on this list.
Thanks to its incredibly sturdy build, compact size, powerful battery, and decent tank, SMOK Alike is the winner here.
Still, there are various options on this list that might be a better fit for you.
